Do you wonder who is the face behind a food or restaurant business? What motivates them to run this particular product line? There must have been an inspiration to start their business. Having grown up in a food business, I admire entrepreneurs that go into the restaurant business. It is my dream to one day own a coffee shop. See, my office away from my home office are coffee shops particularly UCC Coffee because of the working atmosphere. I even finished the draft of my blog’s ebook at the Podium branch. Other coffee shops are just too noisy for me. It helped that they have a strong WIFI signal that proved to be reliable when a typhoon broke down a lot of ISPs in Metro Manila.
Just recently, I discovered the face behind UCC Cafe. No other than Hubert Young. What is amazing is he also owns some of my favorite eating places such as Crepes and Creme and Sakae Sushi.
What is even more interesting is he is showing himself to the public as the face behind all his restaurant business. He also owns Cave Man & Yeti and Cafe City 1888 aside from UCC Coffee, Sakae Sushi and Crepes & Creme. In his site, he tells more about himself:
